Harrods

YAY! I made it to Harrods. It is pretty cool and I will probably go back cos time was limited but in the end it is just a REALLY big shop.
My favourite part of Harrods is all their elaborate displays, so took pics. The Easter one made me think of our family Easter egg hunts. Gonna miss that. :( The teddy's on the bus were just very London.

I decided that Princess Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed must have spent lots of money at Harrods cos they have a bunch of memorials for them. It is actually really pretty, so decided to take a pic. Maybe one of my readers could fill me in on the story of all the memorials. How cool does that sound - "one of my readers". Heeheehee.

Worthing - St Patrick's Day

OK considering I have been to visit Vicki and Jon twice already you would think there are more photo's but alas I have obviously been getting distracted on my visits and hence not many pics. I have included this page mainly for my boots and lipstick. The only time I have used my lipstick has been in Worthing. First is a mugshot of my first visit then there is a photo of me on St Paddy's Day.
Unfortunately the hat is not mine I had to ask a total stranger if I could borrow it for my photo - my accent must still be obvious except that he thought that I was American. As if!

OK so you can't really see the boots but they are short boots not knee high boots.

Piccadilly Circus

A night out to Piccadilly Circus - I was told the best time to see it is at night and my housemates let me tag along on their expedition. We decided to take the bus cos then we would be able to see more on our way hence thed photo at the bus stop. The photo is Marli, Jana and Jaco - it was a VERY cold night but we survived even though we got lost. Still trying to get a handle on the busses.

Here we are - we made it. I must be honest I don't think I like it - too many people. Felt like I was in the center of Joburg during the week, ARGHH. After all the effort of trying to get there we needed food and went on a mission to find a KFC. I was having a craving for KFC so was really glad when we found out, was unfortunately dissappointed when it didn't taste like the KFC I know. Notice that I am wearing my Northcliff colours proudly - I am such a nerd.

There is a little China Town there and we walked through and took pics. The entire street has a chinese feel to it and of course is lined with a whole bunch of little chinese restaurants and they all hand their duck in the window. It actually kinda put me off chinese food but the street was still pretty cool.

Lucky for us we didn't get lost on the way home, so all was good.
