Al and Byron in London

Weekend before my trip out with Byron and I still get even more spoiled by having Al around to visit. Al arrived on Sat morning and we had a very eventful day. It began with a really relaxed picnic in the park and my first discovery of Princess Diana fountain memorial. Its not really a fountain but it is a very nice green area with a water feature thingy in the centre. The water is also icy cold which is a bonus.

We then headed off to a floating bar - basically a boat that stays in dock but I can't remember the name. We had already been drinking Pimms at lunch but did that stop us from socialising with more drinks on the boat? Of course not. By the time the bodies were separating we were not quite ready to go home but probably should of. Instead we headed off to meet Taresa - by the time we got there our buzz had worn off a little so we only had one drink then left.

Sunday was the day to fetch Byron from the airport - told you I was being spoiled with all these boys coming to visit. After fetching Byron we all chilled at my place chatting and drinking - this time just juice/water. Unfortunately Al had to head back to Scotland, so Byron and I headed back to Hyde Park and took a casual walk through Hyde Park which ended with us dipping our feet in the Princess Diana memorial.

We then headed home and went for a pint at The Wibbly Wobbly - a very little boat that is now a floating bar. We then headed home for the big journey the next day. PS: Believe it or not the weather was beautiful on both these days.

Hope you checked that the feet dipping was legal ...
