Bye bye

Hi all, in 8 hours I will be boarding the plane to go to UK ... EEEK very scary. Here some photos of my last month in sunny SA.

First things first, family Christmas in Cape Town. The first photo is me at Butterfly World - it is really pretty with al the butterflys around all the time but they tend to move around alot so it is a bit difficult trying to get photos of them without it being a big blur. Instead I decided to get a photo of me with this really strange looking 'butterfly' cos she stayed really still. ;o)

My 10yr old cousin Chelsea has been learning to play the guitar and she has a beautiful voice, so as a present to me she played and sang 'Leaving on a Jet Plane'. For those of you who have seen my little 'episodes' can surely guess that she had me in tears.

Then as if I hadn't been spoiled enough already my siblings took me out for dinner at The Ritz, behind us is a view of Cape Town at night, it is more impressive in real life I promise. It was great fun and even though we were probably the only South Africans in the restaurant we looked more like tourists than anyone else.

After saying goodbye to my family in Cape Town, I had a dinner with my friends at the Dros, well at least it was with the friends who were still in good 'ol Joburg. I only got a group photo near the end of the night so not everyone is included but thank you all for coming. We had a good meal with champagne to toast to the future.

My final goodbye was at the airport, we had a small dinner before I had to board my flight at this stage my emotions were going crazy so I kinda became a zombie, not completely sure on how I felt about anything.
